DIY Wedding Stationery: Join this virtual calligraphy workshop
If you fancy yourself as artistic or having a bit of a creative flair, this DIY workshop focussed on wedding calligraphy could be both a saving grace and a creative outlet.
The costs associated with wedding stationery can really start to rack up, particularly if you’re not going digital with your invitation suite, or you have a large guest list.

On Wednesday May 17 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm, the very talented Marie Claire Whelan will be hosting a virtual and hands-on calligraphy workshop.
Over the course of two hours, Marie Claire will bring you through everything you will need to create and design your own wedding stationery, including invitations, envelopes, name place settings and table numbers.
You’ll learn how to set up your tools and calligraphy kit, how to get started on hand-positioning and lettering, spacing, layout and everything in between.

A seasoned pro, Marie Claire has worked with big brands like Miu Miu, Jo Malone, Frederic Malle, Rituals and many more. And, she is also the woman behind the invitation suite and wedding stationery of Irish influencer Clementine McNiece.
Taking place in the comfort of your own home, the virtual wedding calligraphy workshop will cost €85, and this price includes a calligraphy kit. This kit consists of a pen holder, calligraphy nib, ink, booklets for practising and more. You’ll receive your calligraphy kit ahead of the workshop, so that you’re ready to get started straight away.
