Tulum: When is the best time to visit?
Honeymoons. Honeymooning. Honeymooners.
Let’s talk about some of the most popular honeymoon spots and when is the best time to visit.
As a whole, Mexico as a honeymoon destination ticks a lot of boxes: from awe-inspiring historical sites, picture perfect sandy beaches, the lively local culture to the unending sundowners with vibrant sunsets as a backdrop. It also goes without saying that the food is fresh, and oh-so-delicious.
Why do couples choose Tulum?

There are so many reasons to choose Tulum as a honeymoon destination. If you’re after a nice balance between a relaxing oceanside getaway and a cultural experience – Tulum’s location offers so many different experiences to visitors.
Swim in the natural underground blue pools – cenotes, and discover Mexico’s rich history and incredible architectural structures created by ancient civilisations. With an abundance of outdoor activities such as snorkelling, hiking, and zip-lining, adventurous couples can create lasting memories.
Tulum is also known for relaxing yoga retreats and wellness escapes, for the ultimate post-wedding restoration. Or just take a beat: sit back, enjoy the sunshine, sip margaritas and indulge in the local cuisine, and just take in the breathtaking natural beauty.
Boutique and luxurious resorts and spas also make it a top choice for honeymooners seeking relaxation and pampering. Escape the stress and post-wedding blues with a couples massage or reminisce on the Wedding Day with a candlelit meal, overlooking the ocean.
But, when is the best time to visit?

Mid-November to March/April
These are the best months to visit Tulum and also Cancun, the Riviera Maya, Puerto Vallarta and Pacific Coast.
June to October is considered hurricane and tropical storm season, with September and October being peak months for hurricanes, and this risky period can extend to November. This is definitely something to keep in mind when booking your trip. Summer (from May to August) can get quite hot and humid, although you will see prices do drop during this time of year.
