Hawaii has always been a bucketlist destination, and Maui is just one of the eight major islands. A tropical island in the North Pacific Ocean, with luxury resorts and gorgeous views. With great food, incredible coffee, plenty of beaches, crystal clear waters and incredible hiking trails, Maui offers visitors plenty to do and see.

Maui is a popular honeymoon destination for several reasons. The island’s natural wonders provide a serene and romantic atmosphere perfect for newlyweds looking to unwind and spend quality time together. Maui is also home to many luxurious resorts, world-class restaurants and spas. With its perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and romance, it’s no wonder that Maui is a top choice for honeymooners.

Maui boasts stunning natural beauty, including pristine beaches, clear blue waters, lush tropical forests with awe-inspiring waterfalls. If watersports are your thing, Maui is the place for snorkeling and scuba-diving, you might even catch a glimpse of the protected Hawaiian green sea turtles and tonnes of colourful fish. But, when is the best time to visit?

April to October

The shoulder months of April / May and September / October, are still relatively warm and see less tourists descend on the island. This results in lower prices for accommodation, as prices usually peak during the true summer months and Christmas holidays. But, the traditional summer months of June, July and August are hot and dry. Rain is common throughout the winter months, especially January.

However, if you’re heading to Maui specifically for the whale watching, the best time to visit is between December and March.
